Is there any reason 17's in front and 18's in the rear would cause a problem?

Is there any reason 17's in front and 18's in the rear would cause a problem?

I have an extra set of 2000 'vette wheels laying around that no longer fit on my race car. I was thinking of having them either powdercoated or dipped but figured I would check to see if there will be issues first.

Thanks in advance, Adam M.

from what i understand the only thing that could be messed up by aftermarket wheels (assuming no fender or suspension rubbing of course) is the abs may not work. but that is only an issue if the wheels arent the same diameter/circumference. so just use 275/35R18 in the back and 275/40R17 fronts.

vette wheels

i have put a set of the silver 5 star vette wheels on a 94 Z28 the back is a little tight to get on as long as you are not lowered they should not rub you will have to wiggle them to get them in because of the depth but it looks cool remember to re torqe your wheels after 50 miles
