Cloyes always made one for the LT1 I belive unvented, it retails for about $600 aswell. Not worth it bro, just get a Lunati if you do n't want to upgrade, any aftermarket chain is good IMO, aren't GM ones Cloyes anyways? I thought Cloyes makes GM chains no?

The Lunati looks like a great buy at $108. No doubt it is better and stronger than the stock setup.

It supposedly fits 93-4 early unvented optis, so yes..
I haven't seen one yet, the pic posted above doesn't look 'right', but Shawn W says above that he has one, so I am inclined to believe that yes, it fits...
Let's hope so we need other options to the opti 'upgrade'

it just seems rediculous that we would have to change to the newer opti, maybe if the opti went out it would be a good time to do it, but I just replaced it a couple years ago so it seems quite rediculous, I can't believe there aren't more option out, it blows my mind, the market is there, I don't understand grrrrr

well if you don't have a timing cover or an opti go ahead and put on a vented opti and get the timing cover for it, other wise you can just put one from a 94 or 93 on it, you'll have to cut the dowel pin or push it back through a little bit so it'll fit if it has the 95 cam in it, what you do is going to laregly depend on what you already have

putting a vented opti with the timing cover for it on that motor will open up your option alot as to timing chains though

So to recap, the consensus right now is this -

Lunati Chain
nonvented opti
stock waterpump

If thats the case, then

Lunati Chain
nonvented opti
electric waterpump

should be no problem then right?

These cars are so wierd. You can't change one thing without changing 20 others.
