Now I can have some cool riding this summer. I think the kit cost like $36 I spend $10 in parts and a hour of work.

One ? tho is with the car off I still can turn the fans on. I have it hooked in on a switched 12v source. The leds dont come on but the fans do. Do I need to go ahead and install the diodes to prevent this. Thanks.

The 96-97s will do this because the relay coils always have power with the factory wiring. If you want to be able to monitor the fans with the key off, use a constant 12v supply for the LEDs.
