Thanks MADZ28 however welcome new problem!

So you may have seen my other thread about my car not starting, it didn't even turn over, I successfully push started it a few times and it would soon die in 3-4 seconds, soon it wouldn't even do that. The security light would flash. I found a blown fuse and replaced it so it would pushstart for 3-4 seconds again. It appeared to be a VATS problem.

I ordered a piggyback chip from Ion on Sunday(6/18) and recieved it today Saturday (6/24). My car now runs when push started , boy was that a treat driving your car after driving your dads Isuzu Trooper for the last month. However it still won't start, or even click over. Now there is a single click coming from down under near the passenger front tire, I'm definitly thinking starter solenoid. Anyone else agree? If so, is there a write-up for this anywhere, and where can I buy a new solenoid, Autozone didn't stock them .

Thanks,
Andy

Might as well get the entire starter. It'll come with a solenoid.

I was thinking that, 124,000 miles, might as well replace the whole thing.

Should I grab the Duralast one from Autozone for $95 or order an Accel or a better one from JEGS or something? I'm anxious to drive the car without having to push it

I was tight on cash when I had to buy a starter, so I went with the Duralast. I've been happy with it. I try not to buy reman but the starters are easy to replace.
