I was just wondering why a lot of people choose to rebuild their 4l60e's instead of buying a used turbo 350 or 400. Are there problems that you run into by swapping to the beefier trans? I was thinking a couple things. 1. They've already bought a tq converter and dont want to go through the hassle of selling it all. 2. Its too much of a hassle to swap one in.
Give me some insite as I would like to do a swap once mine goes.

 

Biggest thing is no overdrive. The swap isn't too bad.
