Temporarily running an LE2 setup with a 224/230 cam tune...
I had my PCM sent to pcmforless but I'm not sure if Bryan is out of town or something? I can't seem to get a hold of him. At this point I'm assuming I won't have my PCM in time with the car back together this weekend.
I have access to a spare PCM that I can run to start the car up that is setup for a 224/230 cam like my old setup, but it is set for stock injectors and not my new 30lb injectors.
Can I run the car like this for a few days? Avoid running WOT?
I just want to get the car started up and running.... don't want to hurt anything though with the injectors not properly programmed into the tune.

i went from a set of stage 2 to stage 3 and also changed out the fuel pump. I also changed from the 306 cam to the 236/242 cam, and changed to 30 injectors also. my car would hardly even idle, plus it ran so rich that in 30 minutes worth of keeping it running by pedalling the gas it fouled out all plugs then the car wouldnt start. so im going to say i wouldnt try it. but that's just me.

It will theoretically run a little rich being tuned for 24# injectors, but given that you have a bigger cam, the VE will be different and will likely require more fuel at part throttle, etc. so the car might run OK. Just have to see how it runs, you might be OK to start it up and drive around a little. But like you said, stay away from WOT or putting the engine under much load. Do you have any way to monitor the O2 sensor readings? If it's way too rich, that's obviously a bad thing as fuel in the oil can kill a motor. If you wanted to be safe, wait until you get the tune or have a way to monitor the car. I'd probably just start the car to make sure you don't have any leaks, check that valve lash is good etc, then wait for the tune.

Looks like Bryan was just out of town, I might have it back by Friday with some overnight shipping.
