Temp Sensors

Are they interchangable between the WP and the head? Im getting weird readings... 185 on the scanner and 240 in the dash. I bought a new one... are they interchangable?

Re: Temp Sensors

No, the one in the head is a temp switch for your fans and has one wire. The one in your waterpump is for the gauge and pcm, which has 2 wires.

Re: Temp Sensors

Ok... the gauge and PCM are 2 different sensors. My gauge is reading 240 and my PCM is reading ~185

Re: Temp Sensors

The one in the head goes to the gauge. The one in the WP goes to the PCM (which is what controls the fans).
