I was just wondering....do you guys use Teflon Tape....RTV or both? I am putting my intake manifold back together after the match porting and Hot Tankin. I'm putting back on the fittings and wondering which to go with. Also putting motor back together so I was wondering about other botls and stuff too.

 

Teflon paste, two birds one stone.

 

Never even heard of that.

 

Locktite thread sealant for the head bolts. Orange RTV for the frt/rear intake rails.

Thanks Jeff but I got all that figured out . I was just curious as to what guys use on simple fittings and bolts....sensors...etc.

 

It's the same as Teflon Tape except it is in a thick liquid form. Sometimes called PFE or PTE paste.
