TB bypass???
TB bypass???

Re: TB bypass???
You wont see much gain, but it is a cheap mod. It just re-routes the coolant so your not putting hot coolant through the throttle body. It has no effect on the use of an airfoil.
You should do a search on here about this and you can find a lot of info.

Re: TB bypass???
GM routes coolant though a small manifold attached to the bottom of the TB. It's purpose is to prevent icing of the TB that may occur in extremely cold weather. Of course during warmer weather, it's just heating up the TB. Colder air is denser than warmer air and therefore makes more power, although in this case it's a small gain. If you look at the bottom of your TB, you'll see 2 hoses that connect to it. Basically bypassing involves disconnecting these two hoeses and rerouting them to connect to each other.
