Tb bypass

Question about the tb bypass. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but ran into a problem with the pita side. My hose clamp is facing the engine block so when I go to pinch it both sides of the clamp hit the block and won't allow me enough leeway to fet the hose off.

How would you fix it? Can I just cut the hose right at the point where it comes off the tube. I remember shoebox saying he didn't cut his and was just wondering if anybody had this same problem. Thanks in advance guys.

On the passenger side it is a pita , so i just cut the rubber and attached the driver side hose to it. I capped the driver side and left the pass. alone.

It is the passenger side. Seems if I cut it there should still be plenty of hose left to connect it to the other side. Any other suggestions? I can't get the clamp to the opposite side it hits the block.
