Taylor OTVC kit owners - question

I'm getting an oil leak seeping from underneath the hold downs on the valve cover - did the kit come with some sort of gasket/o-ring/washer that sits underneath of the wire brackets?

Seems the oil is climbing the bolts and seeping from underneath there - anyone else experience this? I'm going to try either small rubber o-rings underneath or nylon washers.

Has me wondering now if I have a clean surface underneath. I'll get them off tomorrow and see. Hate oil leaks!

I have made for you wire looms and they didnt come with any gaskets or anything. The stock washers that are on the stock valve cover bolts won't fit over the new bolts so I just left them off. I've been checking them and so far so good.

Good to hear (sorry) that i'm not the only one. I'll let you know if the o-ring or washer solution works.

Same problem here. What we need is either aluminum or brass washers that are conforming to seal it off. Still looking.

Re: Taylor OTVC kit owners - question

took mine off..............cause i kept burning them up, so i ran them in the stock location with regular bolts (mine did leak a tad with the OVT kit though), but hasnt done it since i switched back to the stock bolts and ran the wires the orignial way.

Only reason i kept burning them was because i tried to install them with stock manifolds (that didnt work to well........lol)
