If I were you I would just try and find a new cheap radiator with a lifetime warantee instead of trying to fix an old one. But I think taking it out would be almost the same as on any other car.

It's pretty simple... Slip the a/c condenser out of the slots at the front of the radiator if it's connected... Disconnect the radiator hoses... If it's an A4, remove the trans cooler lines from the radiator and plug them... Unplug the fans... You might be able to get it out with the fans still attached.. If you do, you'll probably need to snap the fan wiring out of their connectors on the fan shroud... If it won't come out with the fans, you'll need to get underneath and push up on the fan shroud to remove it from the slots on the radiator... That's all I can think of.

Make sure you have the car up high snough to take all of the coolant lines loose before you try to remove it. just taking the drain plug out of the bottom wont get all of the coolant out of the lines.
