Obviously i am getting my TFS heads worked by lloyd, but a friend of mine is looking at some heads for his 383 shortblock. He was wanting some opinions (and preferably numbers) from both LE and AI setups with the TFS heads. Thanks in advance

 

Lloyd is the best person I've ever dealt with in this business. Bar none.

 

I have heads bought from someone else that were ported by Llyod a year & a half ago & the guy was still willing to help me out! No matter how stupid the question! Llyod will forever get my bussiness.

I actually tried to go w/ AI first & after getting the run around they said they were too busy at the moment. Who ever I spoke to had a little bit of an attitude, but we all have are bad days.

i wasn't really meaning flow numbers, more like if anybody had trickflows from LE or AI, what they were putting down etc. Thanks though

 

There is a guy here that put down like 415+ rwhp with those heads ported by Ai and a stock shortblock. Thats not to bad considering the drop in compression as well.

 

Cliffs car with a set of Lloyds TFS heads and a 306 runs pretty well, no clue what he dynoed though.

i think he's referring to TA_LT1 or something similar. high 9's i think at ~136mph. sounds like a simple setup. i don't think he's spraying a "big" shot either.

WOW....looks like he easily has 10's on the motor once it is tuned up well,and mid 9's as well. Damn, and I am looking at a 200 shot, maybe I'll just stick with a 150, sounds like plenty to me lol

 

What's really funny is that when i talked to lloyd about nitrous on th TFS heads, he said "These things get crazy on nitrous", I guess he wasn't lying huh? LOL

 

I have Loyds Trick Flows that he done for my 398 LT4, i'll have numbers as soon as its together probably another month away!
