Which tach wire for shift light?

Which tach wire did you guys use when you wired your shift light? I know there is the white one of the PCM but I remember somone telling me that the white wire that goes to the Ignition Control Module/Coil could be used...

I am pretty sure its the white wire off the ignition coil. But if you have a MSD you can run it off of that.

it's the connector with 4 wires not 3. I thought it was the coil but I could have been mistaken.

The White wire off of the PCM 'Red connector' (the harness isn't really red, but it's labeled "red' on the cast case), think it's 13 or somethin. Then it was right there to run through the firewall.
