True, I believe the same thing. Just wanted to cut down on friction as much as possible. That's why I was asking about the leak, if there was a good chance one would develop, I won't do it because regular oil works just fine for me. Still don't know if I'm switching however, just keeping it a possibility, and wanted to know if I should rule it out or not.

I changed to synthetic at 20K and got an intake leak bigtime. Got to do first the intake and then the clutch that the leak ruined. as if that wans't enough I screwed up the pan gasket in the install (don't ask) and ruined the clutch a second time. D@!# if the clutch isn't slipping a third time and I don't know why this time. I don't even race this car.
