swirl meter, tumble fixture and port flow analyzer, do they realy work?

does the port flow anaylazer realy simulate the flow of ported intake runners of a head accuratly or at least consistently? how about the swirl meter and tumble fixture?
do these things realy work? are they accurate or at least consistent?
