Swaybars..... Couple questions...
I've never heard of sway bars wearing out, they're pretty much a static piece unlike those you mentioned.
As for the 1LE parts, they're supposed to be a nice improvement. I'd throw in some poly bushings with new end links as well.
Personally, I went the BMR www.bmrfabrication.com route for sway bars (and just about every other suspension part as well). They made a very noticeable improvement and having the choice of color is nice too.

1LE's aren't much better than what you had. You should have wandered down to the Road Race/Autocross Forum and asked there first.
I would have recommended the Suspension Techniques 35mm from bar to start with. Probably could have left the stock rear bar on for now. The front bar is $148 from Sam Strano (www.stranoparts.com). The 1LE bar is hollow and while it's lighter, it's not NEARLY as stiff as the 35mm solid bar.

Well for the price I got them and what I use the car for it shouldnt matter to much... What matters to me is that its better then what I have on there and should add a bit of a stiffer ride....
