Sway bar effects performance?

If I take off my sway bar, is it going to make driving miserable?

How much of a gain will I see at the strip?

Does that mean it will be really stiff around corners or it will roll alot?

Re: Sway bar effects performance?

i've had mine off for a few months, i really dont notice it at all now. i am running 275/315 tire combo with hals 12 ways and my car corners pretty good even at speed. i do however have my front wheels hit the upper inner fender plastic peice if i hit a huge bump. but its definity worth the cost, $0.00

The sway bar helps to keep the body from rolling over as much while turning. I had mine off for a couple months during the middle of the summer. At first it seemed like a huge difference. But after a few weeks of driving I really didn't notice it hardly at all anymore. It did seem that the front end would come up a little easier at the track. Not sure if it really helped my 60fts. since I had ET streets already, but it was a bit of weight taken off the car. Once I put it back on though I realized how much more enjoyable it is to drive the car with it on. I do like to take corners quite fast at times though.
