Swapping a T56 from a 383 stroker onto my LT1

I have a 1995 z28 and absolutely loathe the fact that it has an A4. I found a 1995 z28 with a non running 383 stroker but a (hopefully) fully in tact t56. I started doing research because for the most part it seems like it should be a straight swap but I am getting confused with all the talk about 1 piece rear main seals and 2 piece rear main seals and can’t tell if I should prepare to buy a new flywheel or bellhousing etc. If there is a thread that already addresses this please let me know. 😁

If the donor 383 is a LT1 motor, the flywheel, bellhousing from the 95z T56 will bolt right up. Clutch is specific to LT1 as they are "pull" type

Ah okay I think I got confused, so is there a “383 stroker” that is done on the sbc2 LT1s but also different 383 that is the older and a sbc 1? Idk how to put it into more proper terms.

yes a gen 1 SBC cane be "stroked" to 383 just like the Gen 2 LT1 that were in 95 camaro. My LT1 is now a 383 and I have a T56
