Swapping a 96 LT1 into a 94, what needs to change?

Just like the title says. I tried searching but couldn't find what I wanted. I know a 96 motor is obd2, but is it a direct plugin to an obd1 harness? What would I need to change or swap, if anything?

Thanks in advance!

You will need the opti harness on the 96, but really nothing else. There will be a couple of extra things on the 96 engine that the 94 harness won't have plugs for (crank sensor and EVAP switch), but it won't matter. The OBDI computer won't be looking for them. Swap your 94 coil on, so that the harness connector will mate up.

If you are running the 94 PCM, you have to use a low resistance (~4,000 ohm) 93-95 knock sensor. The 96/97 knock sensor, used with the OBD-II PCM's is ~100,000 ohms and will not work correctly. Alternatively, you can have the 94 PCM modified internally to work with the high resistance knock sensor.

Oh, yeah, the knock sensor. I knew I was forgetting something.
