Nice i like that. Honestly i think f bodies are some of the most fun cars to drive. they have the propper mix of street and track, are civilized enough on the street, but you can pull the rear end loose when needed.

Why not?

I was thinking about going to a drift competition around here in Charlotte in August. I would take lessons if they offered them.

Have you seen that Honda commercial with Andretti teaching that kid how to drive the S2000? That is bad *** when he goes around that curve!

i think it's harder to drift with an f-bod. RWD and too much TQ, makes it pretty hard to drift. if i wanna drift, i usually do throttle induced oversteer. japanese car is good for drifting, american cars are unbeatable in the drag competition, and so i thought

I drift all the time in my Camaro! Florida Atlantic University was built on an old military base and it still has concrete runways built out of huge concrete slabs. Some sections of the runways were made into parking lots by painting lines on them. There's a back entrance where they painted a big S turn (first right, then left)... but there's no curbs! I go through the turn as fast as I can, usually drifting through the second bend. Once with my girlfriend I hit it so fast that we drifted waaaay off course. Some maineanance guys saw it and were cheering. Luckily the campus police have never caught me.

I haven't been there in a while, but last time I was there, the local police had cones set up and they were practicing their driving maneuvers. That was fun to watch! But I was DYING to show them how it's done

I'd rather see throttle-induced tire smoke

I agree totally with TMDZ28, *** cars are great for drifting but im in no way a "ricer" - all american muscle all the way!. I just wish i could tune my car for both drag and drift. The 4th gen camaro is terrible for drifting by the way, i love my camaro but anyone who thinks they can truly drift a stock one is either a REALLY experienced driver or is mistaken P-slides for drift. Powerslides are not drifting! I think it would be really cool to have a camaro that not only rips it up on the straights but can destroy in the hair pins as well. My rice friends always talk sh*t when it comes to our (american) cars handling, ill destroy them in a straight but im no match for there handling. I would love to just pull on them in a drift!
