Hey all, I have a 93 z28 lt1. It was running just fine the other day, I shut it off for 20 mins and it wouldn't stay running. It started for a min, then died. after that all it would do is crank. It did the same thing yesterday after sitting for a week. It has 160,000 miles and is stock as far as I know. Bad opti? What else could cause this problem?

Also it has developed a clunk in the trans tunnel when first accelerating, what would cause that?

Broken tranny mount most likely for the clunk you hear.

Check for spark first at the coil, and check the wire.
Then check fuel pressure, if you have spark.
