So I guess if you change your tires & suspension setup to get your car to hook, then in the end subframe connectors will be a good thing since you are putting more of your power down to the wheels on launches, right?

If your car is lowered besides the SFC's you should get some LCA relocation brackets. After putting on an Eibach Pro kit with SFC's I had no traction, As soon as I put the LCA relocation brackets on the car really hooks up, When you lower the car you change the angle of the LCA's and relly should use the relocation brackets.

Another thing you might wanna look at is the tires your car is running on. Even after i got my SFC's i still heard some noises. After i put on my new yokohama tires on the car it felt smoother and got rid of some more of the noises. My old tires were really bald so you might wanna check that out to.

I've got bolt ons and I couldn't be happier with them. My car quit squeaking ever time i rolled over a tilt area like in a gas station. The trade off is that it rides a lot rougher now but that doesn't bother me. Nobody has mentioned something I really like. A convenient, safe jack point all the way down each side. I used to hate it when i had to get the car up on 4 stands, its easier and safer now, not to mention other idiots a lot bigger target to hit.

Honestly, I have no idea... I just know that they stopped leaking in the drive through, power spray type wash. They never did leak in the rain. Make absolutely certain that the car is on a lift, by the tires... i.e. without any frame stress in any direction. The SFC's are only as good as the installer! I second the tubular being fine for a street car, but the boxed units don't take THAT much ground clearance. I did not like being able to see them though... you can't see my tubular set without crawling under the car.

And as far as lowering brackets go... be aware that they are a detriment to good handling. They put the rear suspension in a bind. If you are a strip racer, they do good, but if you like to actually drive the car, they can cause binding and subsequent loss of traction.

I had them on the stock rear end and they definitely helped. But I did not reinstall them when I went to the Moser 12 bolt.

They made a big difference. Get them welded though, at least in the front. I went with some Comp Engineering boxed bolt on sfcs, they mount to a very strong point in the back at the LCA mount but upfront the "bolt on" point wasnt too good. I didn't notice much of a difference after just bolting them on. After welding just the front it made a big difference. A lot less twisting over bumps and much less t-top squeeks and other rattles overall, the car feels a lot tighter now.
