I filled up my coolant to the filler neck earlier this evening. I then drove out to the mall. And then I did some other small driving so i probably drove around for an hour and half. Let my car cool until now and I went outside to check the coolant level. Like I said I filled it up to the radiator filler neck before I left. Now it seems like it's a little bit below the hose that connects to the coolant overflow/resivor tank. I think it'd be normal to drop below that since coolant would run through that hose and back into the resivor tank if I filled it above that level. Or did I lose coolant again?

 

I was driving my car about 4-5 month before it start losing power and the oil start looks like milk with coffe.It was blown headgasket. And it was looks like same, like your car! Try to look around intake, when its hot... And how looks like exhaust gases... u can find about that in internet(how it should looks like) And sparkplugs... color... Good luck!

 

listen for bubbling when the motor is hot. If you shut the car off while it is hot and open your hood, you will be able to hear it if the coolant is boiling over.

 

Bad rad caps are what always caused the mysterious loss of coolant on the many vehicles I've had. A bad cap lets the coolant boil, forcing way too much into the overflow tank so it runs out the overflow tank overflow tube and dumps under the car while driving. No evidence of leaking and I'm going to assume you checked the exhaust for white smoke and it's OK. My suggestion is to top off rad and bleed it, then let her warm up and pop the hood. Use mech. gloves or something to prevent your hand from getting burnt and squeeze the rad hoses. If you can't hardly squeeze the hose (with engine warm and running) you have pressure in the cooling system. If you can pinch the hose easily, your cooling system is NOT pressurized and it's boiling the coolant out as you drive. Time to try a new cap.
