stumble/hesitation was a trans problem?
I dont know whether to put this in drivetrain or here but i figured here because this is where all the stumble questions are...
SO i had a stumble/hesitation problem that is ever so problem. Come to a stop.. accelerate and stumbles. Seems like everyone had this problem but mine would also happen right after it shifted into 2nd. I fixed a cracked elbow and did the ICM cooling mod and they both netted results. But for some reason after a while of driving it would still stumble. Way more slightly then before but it still did it.
so i decided to modify my shift kit one day because i didnt like the shift anymore. Turns out my EPC (i think thats wut its called) solenoid was bad and the pressure in the trans was something like 30psi over normal at idle. On top of that the "Shift kit" was just a transgo seperator plate that had the **** drilled out of it. So i got a new shift kit at wholesale price and the other parts i needed (gaskets, solenoid, seperator plate etc.) at wholesale price as well. I put this all in and took it for a test drive. WAY better shifts i might say but what i realized later after a few very long drives... no more stumble. At all! so that was my problem. maybe that can help someone in some way.
