Angry Stripped EGR nuts, need opinions

Hey guys I'm in the process of installing headers and I just stripped the 2 EGR nuts that hold the pipe on that goes to the mainfold. I let them soak in WD-40 overnight but the still stripped right off, I tried using a stripped nut removal kit but it's too tight back there to work. My question is if I just put a big vacumn cap on the end of that metal pipe will I be okay? I have a block of plate for the manifold side and I have had the EGR disabled in a tune from MADz28.

What do you guys think?

Thanks for the input.

If you have a plate to replace where the EGR valve goes, the pipe side does not even matter (except for keeping the manifold passage clean).

So if the pipe is exiting the back of the intake manifold I can just let it hang there? I was thinking about putting a 5/8 vacummn cap on it(I have one left over from blocking the air passage on my CAI) I have the block off valve plate for the exhaust manifold, so the exhaust wont be leaking.

I used your site a little, basically the number 14 bolts are stick onto the number 13 studs, and where the number 12 plate would hook up to the manifold I have a block off plate so there won't be an exhaust leak, so in the diagram if you look at the large number A with the arrow, on my car that pipe is just sitting there open on that side.
