streetfire cd ignition boxes

Hey, what do you guys know about the streetfire cd ignition boxes. I saw one the other day at an advance auto parts. It said on the box that it is made by msd. I went to msd.com and looked at them. I want to know if anyone on here uses one? Thanks

The Street Fire CDI appears to be a "low budget" version of the MSD-6. It would appear to do what the MSD-6 does, but using lower cost components. Whether its worth giving up some quality to save a few $$$'s is open to debate. In any case, the MSD units will not provide much in the way of an improvement, on a stock engine, assuming you already have a healthy stock ignition system. The multiple spark units are of primary benefit when used on "hard to fire" applications like nitrous and forced induction setups.
