Is this a good cam for a DD? GMPP GM847
I want a cam that is a little more aggressive than a Hot Cam, but not so aggressive I won't like to daily drive it and cruise. Thanks for the input

 

comp cams 503 sounds more like what you want.

 

CC503 or CC305. You will probably hate the GM847 in a stock headed car. I am trying to decide between the CC503 and CC306. Both have their advantages/disadvantages.

 

Depends on how far you daily drive. I think my CC306 is pretty tame, but its all about tastes and situations. I usually drive my stinky, slow diesel.

Some people use the GM847 on a daily driver and like it, some though will say that it might be too much for a comfortable daily driver. I would look into the Comp grinds that recommended above such as the CC305 or CC503 as they will be an improvement over the Hotcam but still maintain good street manners.

 

Combination motorsports, offers a goodline of cams for LT1's. I personally like mine, but they make one a step smaller.
