I have very annoying problem with my car. Sometimes when I try to start it I just turn key and starter are not even trying to crank engine. All lights on dash behaves normal, it's look like PCM can't detect whether clutch pedal is depressed or smth. The major pain that it happens sometimes and there no one right way to make it start - so troubleshooting is pretty hard. Most of times car starts after turning key off for 10-20 seconds, playing with clutch, etc. Battery is fine. I'll appreciate any ideas.

 

Perhaps the VATS Pass key thing can't read your key resistance value correctly?

 

I think that is quite possible. I'll check it. If I can remember all these times clear, problem always appeared after key removal. Thank you!
