Stock Wire w/LTs

Can you still run the stock wires w/Jet-Hot LTs?? I've got a pretty good exhaust leak at the manifold and have the LTs to put on but not the new wires yet. Probly won't for a month or 2.

I run stock wires with LTs. No problems at all. (dyno graph is very smooth)
Don't plan to change them either...they work just fine.

Re: Stock Wire w/LTs

If you have the money, scrape up the $100 or so that it takes to buy the over the valve cover wire kit. It is 10 times easier than trying to route the wires in the stupid stock location, plus it looks really nice in my opinion. Basically, $100 now saves you a lot of frustration in the future with routing and burning out wires(if it happens).

Re: Stock Wire w/LTs

I ran wires in the stock location for over 2 years and only burned 1. That was at first start after the headers, and one was touching. Whoops. Just be more careful than i was.

Re: Stock Wire w/LTs

I run MSD 8.5s with my Hookers and with my custom routing job have never burned a wire. Its all in the routing, take your time make sure its right and you won,t have any problems, even with stock wires.
