Stock Replacement Lifters or Comp R's
Stock Replacement Lifters or Comp R's
Im going to be using the XE224/230 on a 112 with 1.6 RR's and springs that will handle up to .600 lift.
This car will probably never see any track time of any kind.
its strictly a Daily Driver.
would a stock replacement lifter be sufficient or do I "NEED" comp R's
just trying to put together the cheapest combo without skimping on quality

I just installed the same cam and and rockers as you, I went with the Comp R Lifters. In retrospect I probably would should have bought new stock ones, the Comp R's are more sensitive to setting the lash and I feel like I'm spending more time mucking around with the valves than driving.
I haven't had mine on very long, plus I'm waiting on a new optispark before I can get the car running again so I don't have a long term view on these lifters yet...
