stock ported maf [ anyone]

does any one run a ported stock mass air. I did this to my 2000 grand am and gained close to a half sec in the 1/4, will it do the same for my trans am , has it worked for any body else.

thanks

I did it on mine and removed the screen. Polished it up real nice. I can't tell if there was any gain because I had done a whole bunch of other mods the same day. I can you it did feel more resposive though.

I was very bored one night and did mine. Took about 4 hours with a Dremel tool. I got the directions from projecttransam.com. I didn't really notice a difference.
