I never seen stock plugs before on any of the cars I've done plugs/wire changes. I also usually used NGK TR55s, but this time, I needed to order some parts from Jason and decided to order some plugs too (stock replacements). He sent me AC DELCO Professional Platinum plugs with these numbers on the box:

8#41-906, 5614244

I'm sure he sent me the right plugs, but I was just curious if our engines really came with these plugs from factory.

yes, those are factory. they aint cheap and they DO NOT last as long as they are supposed to. i stopped recommending them b/c they kept fouling out after like 5k miles.

 

yeah, my stock AC Delco ones were in there till 69K miles, and they were still good. replaced them with another set of AC delco

 

Mine were in for 153,000 miles, the only reason they were replaced is because my opti went out. Car has been seafoamed every 10,000 miles since new.... Replaced with stock 10,000 miles ago and still not problem. Gosh, I love seafoam
