Stock MAF

Descreening MAF, going aftermarket to the Vette one, etc...

When does all this come to play?

I put a nice 383 in my car with a LE3 package but left all that crap alone... all stock sensors alone with a mail order tune by Ion.

Is it a possibility that my car runs like crap in Closed Loop because I didn't change any of that stuff?

Re: Stock MAF

The best thing you can do is get a brand new stock MAF sensor, leave the screen in, I have a 383. The screen will not hurt you. There are plenty of fast cars running with a screened MAF. I think i paid 140 bucks about a month ago.

Re: Stock MAF

yep, just use a stock, untouched MAF. Flow will not be a problem on your set-up.

Re: Stock MAF

I descreened mine a couple years ago, no real point to doing it. Just use a stock one.
