Re: Stock LT1 Track Times

I ran a 14.2 @ 99 when it was stock. With some practice, 4.10's and a Hypertech I got it down to a 13.2 @ 107.

Re: Stock LT1 Track Times

If my memory serves me correct, it was about 14.1 - 14.2 at about 98-99 mph. M6 vert. But as someone mentioned earlier, track has a lot to do with it as does weather, elevation, humidity, head winds, etc.

yep thats right, if they are off-road headers they will not have emissions so you will have to block off air & egr.

my first 97 A4 with a CAI and Muffler (no catback) used Dr's also (but only cut a 2.0 makes panda sad)

Ran a best of 13.89@102 MPH. with a 2.0 60'

with a 75 shot, ran a 13.3 @ 106mph (2.0' 60')

Re: Stock LT1 Track Times

At 3550 ft mine ran 14.8 with a pretty crappy 60' time. A year later with mild mods and no tune I was running 14.0 with a 2.0 60' time. So altitude + crappy driving will definitely give you a bad result. That's at the local track, which is known for it's really crappy traction.

The previous owner pulled a best of 14.7. The car was also in bad mechanical tune though.

Re: Stock LT1 Track Times

What's your mph?
I couldn't do much better than 14.6-14.7 stock with my car with very bald tires ut my trap speeds were still around 97-98mph. Then I just got some DR's and that dropped down to 13.9 at 99.x mph on my first pass.

Re: Stock LT1 Track Times

I got a 95 Z28 and my best time yet is a 14.2 at 99.3, i no i still have some traction problems, my 60ft time was 2.25 which i guess sucks. I got borla catback, highflow cat, nology wires, K&M intake, around what should my car run? i got a M6, im debating on 3.73's, i was thinking 4.10's but i don't want to kill on gas as much on trips back home from school (300miles)

Re: Stock LT1 Track Times

Stock, mine went 14.4@98 mph with a 2.2 60' and 87+ degree weather.

LT1's are a low 14, high 13 second car with a decent driver. M6's typically trap 98 - 100 mph, and A4's trap 95-98 mph
