stock lifters????

well Im getting ready for a Stage 2 heads/cam package and my guy told me since the Z only has 65k miles then the stock lifters are fine??? Is that okay or should I get some new ones???

They're probably perfectly fine to reuse.

I had the same amount of miles on my lifter and thought they looked fine. Less than 5 miles down the road and two of them collapsed.

I would throughly inspect them

I have my stock llifters on my 396, pushing my boat pretty hard. No problems yet, later down the road I am looking in to get a hydra rev kit and comp-r lifters.

I upgraded my cam @ 85k miles and used the stock lifters. No problems yet.
