How much horsepower can the stock injectors support?

Re: Stock Injectors

They will be below 90% duty cycle up to about 375 flywheel HP. That's at stock fuel pressure (43.5psi). With a higher fuel pressure, they could support more.

Re: Stock Injectors

You should consider upgrading to larger injectors with your setup. I'm just
about at the limit for the stock injectors and you will definately be making
a lot more HP than I do.

Re: Stock Injectors

Do you already have the LT4 28# injectors? They will be below 90% DC up to about 420 flywheel HP. You need to tell us what your flywheel HP is to pick an injector. Can we assume your NX kit is a wet kit?

I'm leaning toward some ford 30 pounders. Do you think that would be enough if persay I'm making 400fwhp?

You also need to respond to Freds question too on the NX kit. You dyno
session should tell you a lot so be sure to include A/F in your pulls.

Yes it's a wet kit. Are the LT4 injectors bigger than the LT1's? If so then I really need this tune because I'm using a stock tune from a 94 LT1.

Re: Stock Injectors

LT1 (94-97) are 24#, the LT4's are 28#, as posted above. You could live with them at 400 flywheel HP. A set of 32#'s would give you room for future increases.
