Stock Fuel P.S.I.
Stock Fuel P.S.I.
anyone know off-hand what the stock fuel regulator holds the pressure at? im jetting small wet nitrous kit and dont want to shoot it to lean. ive got jets for a 38 psi and a 50 psi system, i searched on here but couldnt turn up anything.
Re: Stock Fuel P.S.I.
My stock fuel pump is at 42 psi, and it's brand new. The old one was down to 30 psi and it ran like crap. From what I've read on this board, most people keep their LT1s at around 40 psi. Hope that helps.
Re: Stock Fuel P.S.I.
Idle, vacuum line disconnected - 41-47psi.
Put the vacuum line back on, and pressure should drop proportional to intake manifold vacuum. On a stock cam, that might be approx. 8psi drop. On a more radical cam, you might only see 3-5psi drop when you reconnect the line.
At WOT/max rpm the pressure should hold within about 2psi of the "no vacuum" value.
The stock injectors are sized based on a 3 bar (43.5psi) differential pressure between the fuel rail and the intake manifold.

At least. The important thimg is your willingness to help everyone out and share your knowledge, even when on many occasions I'm sure you'd like to yell DO A SEARCH DAMMIT!
