Quick question...

Say, I wanted to get teh sleeper appearance and decided to put stock Z28 tips on say, a hooker catback, would the tips line up strait and everything? I've read about the stock exhaust being not totally centered. I'm thinkin about putting stock tips on ahooker catback so any input is appreciated. Thanks.

 

It wont line up straight. Stock tips are offset. There is a way to modify the tips and make them straight with minimal effort, If i remember correctly it was someone on this board...

Hmmm, it looks like my plans are being shattered.

 

I've always loved the way these looked. I wish someone made them to work with aftermarket systems.

 

You can get some chrome stock tips with a 2.5" center inlet off e-bay, they only cost ~$50. If you want the stock look all you have to do is paint them flat black.

 

Sweet, now Steve and I are both happy. I'll probably buy some of those when the tips on my hooker start to look like crap.
