ok guys i have a 94 z with stock exhaust. i dont find the need to spend $500 in headers only to gain 15 ponies. id rather spend it on some other mod. whatz the best way to go to make my car LOUDER... flowmaster, exhaust cut out, etc...???

 

Just let you know in most cases some short tube headers such as MAC's will show HP gains up 27 rear wheel HP. Headers really wake up our LT1's and will add that extra beefy sound your looking for.

I also recommend you go with a nice cat back to get the best gains out of it, go with a loud mouth or Borla or Hooker cat back if your on a budget.

well...if you arent goin headers and keepin your cat(s) then go with the loudmouth...simply unreal...sounds like a damn baja or fountain at idle..i love it...and when you get on it...it scares the sh*t outta people...haha nothin but compliments here for my loudmouth except one of my buddies who is a ricer...he said it sound "fake"...i dont really understand...but yea..haha it sounds mean...and oh yea..i picked it up for $100 used

 

Loudmouth is great it will be insanely loud with headers. Make sure you have a cat on if you go with headers and loudmouth.
