It's gonna make you loud as hell. Don't know about power increases with the stock manifolds though.

thats retarded dude. you're gonna have no torque. now, if you had hooker long tubes and dump pipes or something, that might be a little different, but just running your stock manifolds into nothing is pretty stupid. and yes, it will be like unbearably loud

you WOULD lose a lot of low end torque.

well, it would have a little bit of pipe, but not much, i figured witht he stock manifod being as restritive as they are it wuold give me enough back pressure. As far as loudness I dont care about that.

I say do it right the first time.

If sound is of NO importance at all, then get some headers, and the SLP loud mouth exhaust, and !CAT.

If you REALLY want to **** of the neighbors, choose the hooker LT's as your headers with the previously stated exhaust set up lol

That will result in a loss of low end TQ, but good gains up top.

What ever you do, dont jsut go and cut you exhaust, all it will do is make it loud wiht no real gains. If you wat to get "somethign out of it, atleast use a cut out and remove the cat if you want more sound.

That will atleast give you the option of closing it when ever you want.

Are you sure? I had a leak (only a leak) on both sides of the Y-pipe after the header install and I couldn't even hear my Kicker sub!!

I dont mind at all about sound right now one of the pipes is cut because i had to get it out of my way and i accully really like the sound of it so i was thinking about cutting the other side to even it out :P instead of taking it to the muffler shop to have it fixed

Cut outs go for about $50 and to eliminate the cat I say $10 to $15 for a pipe and welding it, or clmaping it.

that will be better than cutting a hole in the Y pipe before the cat.

You cna probably fidn cut outs for $20 in the FS section.

You have a 1994 model. The biggets area for improvement is in the stock exhaust manifolds. Save your money and get some headers. Putting holes in your exhaust will sound like crap and diminish performance.

Your original plan would sound HORRIBLE. If all you cared about was how loud it was...man...that's just messed up.

Ever hear a really loud import? You wouldn't be any better.
