I need to know if anyone knows how to go about repairing a lack of illumination accross the programmable radio buttons of a stock Delco Radio (circa 1997)? Basically just number's 3 & 6 no longer light up as well as one of the bars that runs under the tape door also does not light up. Nothing else is broken and the unit is working fine, however it still gives me that "broken" feeling when driving at night. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

 

Sounds like some elements in the display are not working and the display may need to be replaced. You might be able to do it if you are are adept at soldering and can find the part. Other options would be to take it to a shop or find another unit.
