Stock 93 LT1 rocker arm ratio?

Does anyone know the stock rocker arm ratio for the 93 LT1? Was it 1.5 or 1.6?

Thanks for the very quick reply

I called my engine rebuilder and he "thinks" he took .015 off the heads but he can't remember. I'm assuming I should use shimmed head gaskets?

I just don't want any piston-to-valve clearance problems..
Thanks!

Just enjoy the higher compression ratio.

How big of a cam??? .15 is quite a bit to be taking off. Compression is definitely going to take a hike. Did you get the combustion chamber CC'd?? That will help because you could calculate what the compression ratio would be. Don't ask, I don't know the calculation.

As for PTV clearance, general rule of thumb on a stock setup is go no higher lift than .600. So I'd say about .585 now. On the safe side.

I didn't CC the heads, I was running out of time and didn't bother.. whoops.. lol Great replies, guys..

this is why CZ28 kicks ***

May I suggest one more thing. If you're running a 93, shoot over to www.speeddensity.ord and check it out. It's the 93 F-body forum basically. Good guys, great information to be had.

I don't believe you meant what you typed. If the guy took off, what he claims, he took off vitually nothin'. Well, ok, a full 2 cc. worth. Still, no need for valve contact concerns, however.

I've never heard of anyone taking off 15 hundredths of an ince. Fifteen thousandths maybe, but hundredths, no. Just seemed like a lot to me, and it will have an affect on the compression ratio.

I am willing to put a LOT of money that he took 15 thousandths. If he took 15 hundredths your heads would have been surfaced into the water jackeths probably. .015 is not that bad but .15 now that is a LOT to take off a head. He would have had to angle grind the intake surface or else your manifold woudn't even come close to fitting. Anyways I hope this cleared it up a bit. Good luck with your buildup and let us know how it performs!
