still takes a couple cranks with rebuild?

I just had my engine rebuilt and its always taken a few cranks to get it started.....right from the shop it was doing it the shop guy said i should prolly have my injectors serviced I also think it could be the fuel filter. Its a new starter so i know it isnt that. instead of servicing the injectors id rather just get new ones, which ones should i get? mods in sig.

I would be willing to bet it's the fuel pump. Do a fuel pressure check.
