STILL intermittent lack of power??

This problem is REALLY irritating me! I've got a '95 T/A (mods below) and when I'm driving it.....if I give it gas it goes (pretty smoothly...no miss) but feels like something is holding it back....then all the sudden, it takes off. Its really weird. It 'seems' to get worse the warmer the car gets. The best way I can describe it is as if someone had a rope tied to it and then let it go all the sudden. I've replaced the plugs/wires/opti/ O2's on both sides. Could it be a bad injector or fuel filter? Any ideas

95 T/A converted to M6, 3.42's LT4 hotcam kit w/ ported/polished LT1 heads 2.00/1.56 valves 1.6 rr's, Moroso CAI, 52 mmtb, LT4 knock module, !CAT, TPIS headers, Flowmaster, electric cutout

I'm having the same problem your having and I know my rear brakes are dragging (I can hear them while cruising) i'm going to replace them monday but I have a feeling that this isn't the answer. I guess I'll also check fuel pressure.

Do you still have an EGR? Maybe it's sticking. Common problem that gives performance problem.

There was a HHHUUUUGGGEEEE thread a while back regarding this issue.

There were many different problems that cause this. Some tried moving the ICM and coil. Some cleaned out the MAF. Some had clogged injectors. Some had bad IAT and MAP sensors. Some had intake leak. Some had bad fuel filters.
