I have a friend at work that has a 95 Z28 M6 and he had a new GM opti put on a week ago. This morning when we were leaving it would not start. I checked it and it was not firing. He bought the car off his dad and he said that was the fourth opti that has been put on it in less than a year. I have a 94 Z28 and he was asking me about some hoses coming out of the opti but when I changed my opti I didnt see any hoses. He said that is his problem that the hoses are drawing in moisture. I am clueless because I have never had any trouble out of mine. oh, his car has about 120K miles on it.

He's talking about the vent tube on 95+ optis.

Why is it drawing in moisture? Thats what he has to figure out. Is it extremely humid in tennessee right now?
