Remove two bolts (13mm I think) , one on the top op the shaft and one down on the bottom. You may need to rotate the steering wheel to see them.

Then pull the shaft off of the steering gear then slide it off the steering column shaft.

Spray some PB blaster on the ends to help if needed. This is easy to do with nor risk period plus the shaft will only reattach one way so it is near impossible to put it back on wrong.

You do have to actually remove the bolt on the lower end to get the linkage off
Be sure not to turn the steering wheel while the linkage is off or at least mark the shaft and linkage so you reinstall it right

Make sure to have a screwdriver to pry on it. And I beleive the size is 11mm for both bolts. Get the bottom part out first then just pry out the top part. Little bit harder getting it back in somtimes.
