Angry Steering Problem

A firend of mine has a 95 z, and he has a problem with his steering. A very random problem. Totally out of the blue when he turns the steering feels like there is no power steering, but usually it is fine. This has been happening for about 3 weeks now. WTF

Possibly low P/S fluid level just low enough to cause "lack off" if the turn is hard enough. What condition is the belt in?

Make sure the water pump isnt leaking from the weep hole and onto the serpentine belt. This is what caused my power steering to go out randomly. If is is leaking it will have to be replaced.

After i looked at the car, it turned out that the ps fluid was low. I should not have just taken his word for it. Just gave him too much credit.
