Could I put a 97 z28 Steering column in my TA as long as I had the key to go with it???? Just the column use my steering wheel and airbag??

 

im sure it would bolt up and work, but you'd have to do something with the vats and probably loose your controls for the stereo as well.

 

Too bad the Vats is what I was worried about I have an aftermarket stereo already.

i guess you could swap your tumbler assembly into the new column, maybe shoebox knows something?

 

I don't know much , but you would have to use the key cylinder from the original column or defeat the key pellet with a resistor under the dash. The PassKey module under the dash, will be looking for the value from the original key.
