steam pipe relocation for griffin
steam pipe relocation for griffin
hi need help with new rad its a commonly used griffin rad only comes with upper and lower hose and overflow i need to either weld fitting on under the cap fro steam pipe or can i move it where the bleeder valve on the t stat housing is with a bard or is there any other option for this please help thanks names joe
The stock radiator suposedly has a "water/vapor separator" inside the end tank at the steam pipe connection. I bought a Griffin LT1 radiator, and it has the same provisions. You have to find a way to return the line to the radiator.
i tied it into where the top bleeder was, and it seems to be doing fine, idk if you can see it here or not tho

I would imagine a tap and drill set with a size that fits your application, mount a threaded piece and adapter for the steam pipe but before connecting anything flush the radiator for any debris that would have gotten inside. Not sure if this is possible or it just sounds nice. Good Luck
